The Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville will present a two-night tribute to local country music legend Patsy Cline on Sept. 9 and 10. In celebration of the birthday weekend of the beloved, local country music legend, regional artists will perform a tribute show highlighting her greatest hits. Vocalists including Aimee Curl of Furnace Mountain Band, Jess Eliot Myhre of The Bumper Jacksons, and Melissa Wright of Mink’s Miracle Medicine will perform alongside David Van Deventer on fiddle, Jesse Shultzaberger on drums, and Dave Hadley on pedal steel. Born in Winchester, Patsy Cline would emerge as one of the most influential vocalists of her day. Among her long list of accolades, Patsy would have two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides charts and posthumously became the first female performer to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. These tribute shows—now a tradition at the Barns of Rose Hill—honor Pasty’s life, legacy, and enduring music.
